George Thomas Boyd Jr., 52, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 18, 1999 in Dandridge, TN.
A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, TN. A 1964 graduate of Church Hill High School. Served in the U.S. Army. Retired from Eastman Chemical Company in January 1998.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joe W. Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Huddle Boyd; son and daughter-in-law, George Thomas Boyd, III and Kim Eckenrode Boyd, Kingsport; granddaughter, Delaney Rae Boyd; grandson, Braden Davis Boyd; parents, George Thomas (Pete)Boyd, Sr. and Anna Blanche Trent Boyd, Mt. Carmel; paternal grandmother, Sally Lou Bailey Boyd, Church Hill; one sister, Mrs. Steve (Sherry) Allen, Kingsport; one brother, Danny Boyd, Belvedere, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
