Whitesboro-Services for Hodge Fielder,91 retired farmer who died Wednesday at a Whitesboro nursing home, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Richards-Beck Funeral Chapel, conducted by Reb. Glyn Rives.
Burial will be at the Whitesboro Cemetery.
Fielder was born in Grayson County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fielder. He married Bessie Gertrude Williams on January 13, 1907 in Whitesboro. He was a member of Woodmen of the World for 72 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro.
Surviving are his sons, Lewis Fielder of Whitesboro; and J. C. Fielder of El Cajon, California; daughters, Mrs. Lois Booker of San Diego, California and Mrs. Marie Turner of Whitesboro; brothers, Leonard Fielder of Elk City, Oklahoma and Rich Fielder of Ontario, California; sisters, Mrs. Alvie Bell of Denison; and Mrs. Pearl Addington of Haynesville, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
