John Monroe Myers Sr., age 73 of Jerry Crump Road, Lincolnton, NC, formerly of Clinton, SC, died on April 28, 2010.
Mr. Myers was born September 5, 1936 in Clinton, SC, to the late James Charles Myers, Sr. and Mozelle Fuller Payton. He worked in textiles and also served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Cothran Myers; two sons, John Myers Jr. and Steven Myers, both of Lincolnton, NC; a daughter, Marie Price of Lincolnton, NC; one brother, Edward Fuller of Fountain Inn, SC; one sister, Melda Fuller Sapp of Ladson, SC; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Charles Myers, Jr. and son-in-law, Calvin Price.
