Born in Union County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Maxie T. and Clara Etolia Richards. She was a former employee of Clinton Mills and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Clinton, SC. She was married three times, first to the late James Myers, second to the late Fate Fuller, and lastly to the late Buck Payton.
Surviving are two sons, Fate Edward Fuller of Clinton, SC, and Johnny Myers and wife, Virginia of Lincolnton, NC; one daughter, Melda Fuller Sapp and husband, Robert of Laurens, SC; a sister, Ruth Cogsdill of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, John Myers, Jr., Marie Myers Price and husband, Calvin, and Stephen Myers, all of Lincolnton, NC, Tonya Sapp of Laurens, SC, and Sharon Fuller of Aiken, SC; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, James Myers, Buck A. Payton, and Fate Fuller; a son, Charles Myers; and two brothers, Sidney Richards and Buck Richards.
Cause of Death: Heart Attack
