Lucille Durham Smith was the daughter of George Richard Durham and his second wife, Annie Davis Bates Marshall Durham. She was the wife of Ira Monroe Smith. They were married on Jan. 17, 1936 in Lonoke Co., ARK.

Lucille was born and raised in Lonoke County ARK and had lived in Springhill, LA for 47 years. She retired after 21 years service as a food service technician for the Webster Parish School system. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
