He met and married Herman Lee Williams May 6, 1970.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Otis Davis, Chester Bell, Eddie Ross Bell, Frank Bell. Sisters: Laura Bell and Reba Williams.
He died in Crockett, Texas.
His daughters are Patricia Johnson, Long Beach, CA, Sarah F. Fields, Tammy Taytan and Shelley Williams all of Houston. Sons: John Wells and Travis Bell both of Houston. Sisters: Ruby Pearl Bell Batts and Iver Lee Bell-Bean, Crockett, Texas
