Mrs. Novella Mae Durham, 69, 2815 Cambron Street, Gadsden died Friday morning at a local hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Taylor, Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Hazel Duke, Gadsden; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Durham Thrift and Mrs. Dorothy Durham, Gadsden; four sisters, Mrs. Jewel Hickey, Attalla, Mrs. Pearl Clark and Mrs. Parlee Powell both of Gadsden both of Gadsden, Mrs. Florence Riddlespur, McCalla; four brothers, Cecil Patterson, Bessemer, Richard Patterson and Johnny Patterson both of Douglasville, Georgia, Harold Patterson, Gadsden. 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Monday 10:00 a.m. from the Revival Tabernacle with the Rev. Don Arnold officiating. Interment, Mt. Olive Cemetery, Dallas, Georgia.

Grandson and Walter Hopper will serve as active pallbearers. Mrs. Durham was a native and life-long resident of Etowah County. She was a member of The Revival Tabernacle. Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her husband George W. Durham and three sons, Alfred, Thomas (Greet) and Billy Durham.
