Margaret Virginia Fisher,80,of Route1,Box 381,Fishersville,died Thursday Morning (Dec.5,1991) at Waynesboro Community Hospital.
She was born Jan.20,1911,in Albemarle County, a daughter of Clinton R. and Mattie Anne Evans Fisher.
Mrs.Fisher was a member of Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church and retired in 1976 from Morton Frozen Foods in Crozet.
She was preceded in death by her husband,William Dennis Fisher, on Sept. 17,1970,one son Hawthorne R. Fisher,two sisters,Flossie May Fisher and Mary Craig,and five brothers,Albert Fisher,Charlie Fisher,Richard Fisher,George Fisher, and Hammey Fisher.
Survivors include four sons,Franklin D.Fisher of Vine Grove,Kentucky,Wayne D.Fisher of Fishersville,and Vastine J. Fisher,and Carl J.Fisher, both of Grottoes,four daughters,Louise Huffman of Waynesboro,Nellie Morris of Fishersville, and Vida Reinmiller and Alice Sensabaugh,both of Grottoes,two brothers ,Clinton of Ballard,W.Va,and Edward of Crimora,20 grandchildren,16 great-grandchildren,and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 11a.m. Saturday in McDow Funeral Home by the Rev.David Witt.Burial will be in Glen Kirk Presbyterian Church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Morris,Tony Reinmiller,Todd Fisher,Edward Fisher,Jack Fisher and Jessie Fisher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Fisher,Jessie Fisher,Frank Fisher,Michael Huffman,Chad Crickenberger,Bobby Sprouse,Virginia Kite and Marie Worrell.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
