Dennis W.Fisher,62 of Calf Mountain Rd,was pronounced dead on arrival at Waynesboro Community Hospital at 3 p.m. Thursday. He was born Jan.20,1908 in Augusta County, a son of the late Tom and Alberta Craig Fisher.He was a farmer.
Besides his wife, Mrs.Margaret Fisher of Grottoes, he is survived by four daughters,Mrs.Sylvia Huffman of Crimora,Mrs. Vida Reinmiller of Grottoes,Mrs.Nellie Morris and Mrs.Alice Sensabaugh both of Waynesboro;four sons,Franklin Dennis with the U.S.Army at Ft.Knox,Ky.,Wayne D.Fisher of Route 1,Vastine Fisher and Carl J.Fisher,both of Grottoes;three sisters,Mrs.Clara Fisher of Route 3,Mrs.Carrie Shiflett and Mrs.Emma Abshire both of Waynesboro,Four brothers,Lionel Fisher,Jimmy Fisher and Tommy Fisher, all of Calf Mountain Rd., and Jake Fisher of Nelson County; and 19 grandchildren
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the McDow Tyree Funeral Home,conducted by the Rev.A.T.Underwood.Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
