Mrs. Francis (Nellie) Chase, 88, of 2226 Loomis St., died in a LaCrosse hospital Wednesday, August 28, 1968. Among her survivors are two sons, Thomas M. of Kendall and A. Floyd Chase of Waukegan, IL; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva McHenry and Mrs. Warren Cronk, both of LaCrosse; 31 grandchildren; 134 great grandchildren; and 26 great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Potter and one brother, Peter Hatfield, both of LaFarge. Mrs. Chase was preceded in death by her husband and a son. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Nelson Funeral Home. Rev. Gale McElwain and Rev. Otto Larson will officiate and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. LaCrosse Tribune, LaCrosse, LaCrosse Co., WI
