Elizabeth passed away at the Tarrace Gardens Retirement Center in Wichita, KS. She was born in Tecumseh, Ne. to Clarence and Pearle (Goodman) Wright.
Elizabeth attended school in Tecumseh and Cook, NE. and recieved a master degree from the Univ. of NE. in Lincoln in 1930 She worked for the Lincoln Public School System until her retirement in 1975.
She was a 65 years member of the First Presbyterian church in Lincoln, Ne. She also was a member of the DAR, PEO, National Orchid Society , and various state and national Music Education Associations. Elizabeth also was a member of the University of Nebraska Cathedral choir from 1926 till 1932.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Malvena Wright of Wichita, KS. nephews, Tom Wright, Lee Wright of Niotaze, KS. Joe Wright of Wichita, KS. and Bill Wright of Lincoln, NE. and niece, Beth Wolf of Burns, KS.
Memorial services were held April 30, 1994 at the Wherry Brothers Mortuary in Tecumseh, NE. with Wesley Lauterbach, officiating.
Inurnment was in the Tecumseh Cemetery.
