STATESBORO, Ga.-Gloria Aldrich Crosby, 60, of Statesboro, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. The Bulloch County native was employed for many years with Ogeechee Clinic. Tenacious and fun-loving, Gloria enjoyed camping, motorcycle biking, fishing and spending time with her family. She was a charter member of the Red Knights Georgia Chapter 14 Motorcycle Club, an international organization affiliated with firefighters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and R.E. Aldrich; two brothers, Clemmie and Ralph Aldrich.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Crosby of Statesboro; a son, Ashley (Cheryl) Brannen of Perkins, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Tyler Brannen of Millen, Georgia; her brothers and sisters, Margaret Quarles, Sylvia (Roscoe) Hill, Talmadge (Betty) Aldrich, Aubrey Aldrich, Joyce (Ray) Saxon, Jerry Aldrich, Harold Aldrich and Deborah (Herman) Harville; her husband's parents, Johnny L. (Anita) Crosby and Linda (Alfred) Stanley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nowana (Timothy) Gay, Brandi Boozer, Tori Stephens, and William Crosby, all of Statesboro. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Mike Newman officiating, assisted by Elder Howard Rushing.
The body will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Quarles, Todd Aldrich, Allan Aldrich, Jason Harville, William Crosby and Dell Saxon.
