His wife, Lucy Belle Beighey-Eckstein, whom he married September 15, 1932 in Pennsylvania, precedes him in death, along with their Unnamed Infant Twins who died within hours of birth in 1944.
Surviving are his father, Edward E. "Eli Edgar" Eckstein, a sister, Lucy "Rosetta" Eckstein-Foltz & a brother, Joseph Edward "Buck" Eckstein.
He was laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery in Industry, Beaver, Pennsylvania.
