EDWIN S. THOMASON DIES
Edwin S. Thomason of Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa, died Tuesday night at 11:30 o'clock at the Mayo Brothers Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, where he had been since Sunday taking treatment. W. H. Thomason of Villisca, Iowa, father of the deceased, received a message Monday afternoon stating that his condition was serious. Later that night he received the message of his death. The cause and details of death had not been learned at the time The Review went to press.
Mr. Thomason was born November 13, 1878, on a farm in Jackson township, north of Villisca, Iowa and was, at the time of his death, 50 years old. He was married to Miss Ida Strain 22 years ago at Villisca, and they resided here, Mr. Thomason owning the drug store on the south side of the public square which was destroyed by fire in 1910. He then moved to Red Oak, Iowa, where he has been in the drug business since and at the time of his death was owner of the Red Cross Drug Store on the south side of the square there.
Mr. Thomason is survived by his wife, who was with him at his death, by his father and his two brothers, J. D. and Elmer, and a sister, Mrs. T. F. Means, all of Villisca, Iowa, and another sister, Mrs. Fred Swanson of Fullerton, Nebraska. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Red Oak, Iowa. At the time The Review went to press arrangements had not been made for the funeral.

BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL
The funeral of Edwin S. Thomason of Red Oak, son of w. H. Thomason of Villisca, was held Saturday morning in the Presbyterian Church in Red Oak, conducted by Rev. E. F. Hammond of Omaha, former pastor of the Red Oak Church. Business houses in Red Oak were closed during the services.
The body was brought to Villisca for interment, and may Villisca friends of the deceased count not go to Red Oak for the funeral attended the burial service here. Mr. Thomason died of heart trouble Tuesday of last week in Rochester where he went the preceding Sunday to consult a specialist. His health had not been good for several years.
