Naomi Thompson, 99, of Grinnell died of a heart ailment on Tuesday at Friendship Manor there. Services at Calvary Baptist Church in Grinnell, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Putnam County, Missouri and had lived in the Grinnell area since 1922. She was a homemaker and had worked for DeKalb Seed Corn Co., before retiring. She enjoyed needlework and studying the Bible.
She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Turner of Grinnell; two sons, Eldon of Grinnell and Frank of West Palm Beach, Florida; stepchildren; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Thompson and LeRoy Leibfried.
