MRS. RALPH CLINGMAN
Margaret Jane Worley, daughter of Jesse and Susanna Worley, was born in English township, Lucas county, Iowa, May 22, 1861, and passed away at her home in Chariton on November 23, 1942, at the age of 81 years, six months and one day.
She was united in marriage to Ralph Clingman on Oct. 31, 1880, and to this union six children were born, Mrs. Ola Smith and William H., of Chariton; Clell C., of Pueblo, Colorado; Harry R., of Los Angeles, California; Harvey L., of Davenport, Iowa; and Mrs. Clarice Riddle, of Chariton, all of whom are living. She has fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She united with the Methodist church early in life, and upon moving to Chariton she transferred her membership to the First Methodist church in this city.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph, and her six children above mentioned, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Pulliam, of Chariton, and a wide circle of friends, who mourn her passing.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Fred. E. Miller, of the Methodist church, were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Mrs. Frank Dunshee funeral home on North Grand street and burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
