Graveside memorial services for Clifford Abraham, 97, Red Oak, were Thursday, June 7, at the Evergreen Cemetery. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Abraham died Sunday (June 3, 2007) at the Red Oak Rehab and Care Center following an extended illness.
He was Born December 30, 1909, near Essex to Charles and Delia (Hart) Abraham. He was united in marriage to Helen Melton on July 20, 1936, in Grant City, Missouri. He lived all his life in Red Oak, where he worked for Askey Feeds and later the Mosaic Plant. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Abraham on July 29, 1988; five brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his son, Bill Abraham and his wife, Karen of Rockport, Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Dedrickson of Clarinda, Iowa and Van Gerlach of Seattle, Washington; other relatives and friends.
