Moffat, Colo. native Twilla M. Smith, 81, passed away April 11, 2010 in Pueblo, Colo. She was born April 17, 1928 to Arthur and Ethel Biggs in Moffat.

She is survived by her children Chris (Charlotte) Dean Eddy of Monte Vista, Roxann (John) Cadwell of Pueblo, Paul Clifford Eddy of Craig, Mark Warren Eddy of Salida; stepchildren Richard B. Smith of Albuquerque, Sally Jean Hollins of Santa Fe and Gordon (Thelma) Smith of Colorado Springs; sisters-in-law Lois Biggs and Betty Jean Biggs and well as by 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Franklin Clifford Eddy in 1980, her second husband Dr. Edwin James Smith in 2003, her parents Arthur and Ethel Biggs, sisters Elora Whelan, Elois Bader and Ruth Biggs, brothers Russell, Elmer, Lloyd and Edgar Earl Biggs and her stepson Thomas E. Smith.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Fri., April 16, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 10th St., Pueblo. Interment will be at 4 p.m. at Rito Alto Cemetery in Moffat. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Villa Pueblo Foundation or Sangre de Cristo Hospice through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Home, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo.
