EDWARD L. MILLER
Edward L. Miller, 85, 306 College, died at 8 a.m. today in Porter Memorial hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in the White Settlement section, south of Valparaiso, March 9, 1872, the son of Horace B. and Velma Jane Miller. On May 14, 1894, in the Methodist church in Valparaiso, he married Josephine Stalbaum.
Miller was a retired decorator and painter. He was a member of the First Methodist church and Porter Lodge 137, F. and A. M.
Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Velma Thune, Valparaiso; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bartholomew Funeral home with the Rev. Percy Thomas, First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
