Linda Lou Tullis died from natural causes on 14 Apr 1961. Her distraught father, David Anthon Tullis, 40, had been flown here after learning of his 14-year-old daughter's death. Mr. Tullis was coming back from a construction project in Bakersfield, California in his employer's craft. After removing his luggage from the plane, he returned to it. A passenger had warned him to watch the propeller and the pilot quickly cut the ignition. But the slow-moving blade struck Mr. Tullis on the head and killed him instantly.
