Lloyd W. Ahring, 79, died Aug. 13,2004, in Salina, Kan.
He was born March 25, 1925, the son of William and Lillian (Nelson) Ahring.
He was a farmer and rural letter carrier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dian Greif; four sisters, Ruth Zartman, Hazel White, Marie Lingle and Esther Kissick.
Survivors include his wife Ruby of the home; three sons, John L. and wife Deb. Eliston, Colo., Dan C. and wife Ruth, Ladson, S.C., and Justin D. and wife Cindy, Coalbran, Colo.; a daughter Kristina M. Brown and husband Roland, Salina; a brother Charles Emerson Ahring, Mesa Ariz.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held on Aug.16 at the Lincoln City Cemetery.
