She was born April 27, 1887, in West Point and was a lifelong resident of that community. She was a bride in the St. Mary's Catholic church there on Nov. 9, 1909. A member of that church, she also belonged to its Altar and Rosary society.
Surviving are her husband; four children, Ernest Schulte, Joseph Schulte, Jr., West Point, Ted Schulte, Fort Madison, and Mrs. William J. Doyle, Glencoe, Ill.,; a brother, George Groene, West Point; a sister, Mrs. Fred Dyer, Sr., West Point; and 10 grandchildren. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. A. Wagner will officiate at the solemn high mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the St. Mary's church at West Point. Burial will be in the Calvary cemetery.
The body is at the Link Funeral Home at West Point, where the Altar and Rosary society will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday, the parish at 8 p.m. Friday.
