FUNERAL OF SAMUEL JOSEPHS
The funeral of the late Samuel Josephs will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock, from his residence, at Fifteenth and Jefferson streets. The interment at Mount Vernon Cemetery will be private, but there will be a large gathering of friends at the services held at the house.

Many Friends Attend the Services at His Late Home
The funeral of the late Samuel Josephs, the well-known politician, took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence, 1438 North Fifteenth street, with many personal friends attending. The services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Joseph D. Newlin, of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, assisted by Rev. Dr. Welsh, of Germantown, and Rev. Dr. Robinson, of Long Branch, a particular friend of the Josephs family.
Many floral offerings had been send by friends. The services were held in the parlor. The Rev. Dr. Newlin recited the Episcopal burial service and touching addresses were made by Rev. Drs. Welsh and Robinson. Delegates were present from the Democratic City Committee, the Young Men's Democratic Association and other organizations of which Mr. Josephs was a member. The interment, which waas private, was made at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
