Mary Magdalene Adam was born July 18, 1917 in Traill County, ND, the daughter of Rudolph and Katherine (Ackerman) Adam. She was raised in the Reynolds, ND area and graduated from Reynolds High School in 1933. Maggie was united in marriage to Lawrence Weber on January 24, 1939 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Reynolds. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Thompson area. In 1954, they moved to Reynolds and, in 1961, they moved to Thompson. On January 24, 2009, Mary and Lawrence celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Maggie was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was an organist for St. Jude's Parish and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish for 60 years. Recently, she was honored for her many years of devoted service to both parishes. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist and accordionist.
She enjoyed her yard, gardening and growing flowers.
Maggie was greatly loved and will be missed by her family, including her husband, Lawrence; daughters, Delores Craft, Indianapolis, IN, Mary (Larry) Eliason, Grand Forks, ND; sons, Bill (Beth) Weber, Thompson, ND, John (Clara) Weber, Palastine, TX; eight grandchildren, David (Brenda) Craft, Fargo, ND, Larry (Ellen) Weber, Palastine, TX, Mike (Mande) Craft, Indianapolis, IN, Matt (Corey) Weber, Grand Forks, ND, Angie Eliason, Duluth, MN, Jason (Mandi) Weber, Athens, TX, Jeff (Jessica) Eliason, Thompson, ND, Ashley (Matt) Froelich, Grand Forks, ND; a sister, Catherine West, Thompson, ND; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by, her parents; sisters, Clara Lavin, Martha Keller, Veronica Schriener; brothers, Clem, John, Fred and son-in-law, Ray Craft.
