She was born June 18, 1918, in Eden to the late Arthur Brewer and Florence Moore Brewer. She married Fay David Holt on June 28, 1936. They were in the grocery business from 1937 to 1963. They farmed for 30 years in Muleshoe before retiring in Idalou. She was a member of Idalou United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 22, 1995, and her son, Jerry Holt.
Those left to mourn her passing include two sons, Glen Holt of Ruidoso, N.M., and Ronnie Holt of Muleshoe; a daughter, Robbie Ausley of Austin; a sister, Mary Adams of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Idalou United Methodist Church with Rev. James Wilborn officiating and Dr. Stacy Conner assisting. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home of Idalou.
