Michael TROUT, Jr., was born 19 May 1804 near Timberville, Rockingham, Virginia, the son of the son of Ens. Georg Michael TROUT (1750-1822) and Elizabetha BAER.

Michael married Anna FRANTZ about 1825 in Botetourt County, Virginia. At least six children were born to this union.

Note: Grave moved to Fairview Cemetery from Michael Trout Cemetery which had been located in the subdivision in Northwest Roanoke called "Hemlock Hills" near the intersection of Route 117 and Route 116.
