THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., May 27, 1994, p.6A. 'Kathryn Bryant Crumley, 78, of Paris died at 2 a.m. Friday, May 27, 1994, in St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. John Hicks officiating. The family will be at the Crumley home, 1150-34th SE. Mrs. Crumley was born Nov. 16, 1915, in Lamar County, a daughter of Earl and Era Rhodes Bryant. She attended schools in Lamar and Fannin counties and received a Bachelor of arts degree from East Texas State University. She married [Jesse] Geron Crumley July 24, 1938. He died Jan. 16, 1988. She was a school teacher, having taught in Paris schools 28 years. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church and its Winmore Sunday School Class and a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are two sons, Geron B. Crumley of Lampasas and Charles G. Crumley of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Leah Crumley of VA, and Robin and David Crumley, both of Lampasas; and a sister, Marie South of Albuquerque, NM. Memorial contributions are requested to a charity of choice.'
