Andrew Taylor was a brother of Robert and John Taylor, the three families coming here sixty years ago. John and Robert settled on farms between here and Pawnee City, while Andrew went across the line into Kansas in the DuBois neighborhood.

Andrew Taylor died at his farm home near DuBois at 6 o'clock on Monday morning from paralysis. The deceased was about 70 years of age and had lived in this county for forty years. The funeral was held on Wednesday from his home. He was an uncle of Mrs. D. K. Miller, who with her son, Gordon, attended the funeral service.
