Raymond Moomey 06/10/1999 DAVENPORT -- Services for Raymond E. Moomey, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Moomey died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport. He retired in 1992 after 38 years with Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric Co. He was born April 30, 1930, in Muscatine, Iowa. He married Harriett Springsteen in 1961 in Muscatine. He served in the Navy. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Davenport. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Joyce Stedman and Barbara McCoy, both of Davenport, and Wendi Moomey, Seattle; a son, Mark, Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Sam, Iowa City.
