Mr. Januchowski,a lifelong resident of Michigan City,was a car builder at Pullman-Standard for 45 years.
He was born in Michigan City April 1,1903 to Anton and Josephine Januchowski.He was married to the former Sophie Miller who died in 1928.He later married Elizabeth Jarka in 1935,who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters,Mrs. Richard (Patty)Finney,Mrs.Paul (Phyllis)Nekvasil and Mrs.Roger (Delores) Brinkman,all of this city.three sisters,Mrs. Paul Medich,South Bend,Mrs. Sidney Samuelson,Gary,and Mrs. Sidney Rice of this city;three brothers,Clem and Edward,this city,and Manuel "Mike" of Edwardsburg,Michigan and five Grandchildren.
Mr. Januchowski was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church,New Buffalo,MI,Local 290 of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen og American and the catholic Order of Forresters,of which he was a charter member and recording secretary.
Burial was in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens,Ott Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
