Mrs. Ellen Coakley died at the homestead in Cardonia last Saturday night, aged about seventy years. For twenty-five years the deceased had been a resident of Clay County, coming from Greencastle. Five sons--Jerry, Timothy, John, Cornelius, James—-and two daughters--Mrs. Mary Fritzgerald, living at Coxville, and Miss Lizzie Coakley—-survive. Mrs. Coakley was generally beloved and had a wide circle of acquaintances, the family being one of the best known in the northern portion of the county. The remains were buried this afternoon in the Catholic cemetery.
