MRS. RUTH L. MILLER, 80, widow of Merrell C. Miller, of Rt.2, died Tuesday at the Waynesboro Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Born in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Weisner Oberholzer.
For a number of years she worked in the packing plant of the Nicodemus Orchards.
She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James F. Stoops and Mrs. Alfred Newcomer, both of Waynesboro; five sons, Zane A. Miller of Zullinger, Pa., , Walter J. Miller of Waynesboro and Edward A. Miller, all of Waynesboro and Thomas E. Miller of Greencastle; one sister, Mrs. Guy Shank of Rt.3, Waynesboro; one brother, Preston Oberholzer of Waynesboro; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas Burns III will officiate.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Thursday evening.
