OBITUARY :
MRS. ETTA E. TOMS, 78, of Marion, died Monday at her home.

She was born near Wingerton, Franklin County, the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Weisner) Oberholzer. She attended the Lutheran Church. She was the widow of Ray R. Toms.

She is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Roy Daugherty of Rt.3, Greencastle, Mrs. Woodrow Ressler of Rt.3, Waynesboro, Miss Gladys Toms, of Marion, Mrs. Fred Henicle, Mrs. Kenneth Wishard, and Mrs. Walter Decker, all of Waynesboro, Mrs. Charles Fahrney of Fayetteville, Mrs. Harry Myers of Marion, and Mrs. Wayne Hissong of St. Thomas; six sons, J. Howard Toms of Waynesboro, J. Russell Toms of Zullinger, Paul E. Toms of Waynesboro, Ray R. Toms, Jr. of Fayetteville, Richard L. Toms, with the U.S. Air Force in Topeka, Kan., and Charles F. Toms of Rt.6, Chambersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Miller and Mrs. Guy Shank, both of Waynesboro; one brother, Preston Oberholzer of Rt.6, Hagerstown; 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Greencastle. The Rev. Donald R. Moul will officiate. Burial will be in the Myersville Cemetery, Myersville, Md.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
