David P. Layser, 106 S. Railroad St., Myerstown, died late last evening at the Lebanon County Hospital where he had been a patient for the past several weeks. He was 83 years old and was retired painter. He had been a resident of Lebanon County all his life and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Schaefferstown. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Jane Bomberger, and the following children: Howard and David, of Calif.; and Clarence, Walter, John and Mrs. Claude Hauser, all of Myerstown.
