Ladene McAndrew, 65, of Edmund, Okla., formerly a business owner in Kahoka, died Saturday, February 18, 1995, in her home. Born May 27, 1929, in St. Patrick, she was a daughter of Paul W. and Agnes E. Kirchner Ellison. She married John L. "Jack" McAndrew Oct. 28, 1947, in St. Patrick. He survives. Mrs. McAndrew was a graduate of St. Patrick High School and had lived in Burlington, Iowa, 14 years. She had been employed as a payroll clerk for the IAAP. She moved to Kahoka in 1965 where she was a teller for Commerce Bank. She and her husband owned and operated the McAndrew Implement Co. in Kahoka for 15 years and later owned the Hickory Hills Campbround until retiring and moving to Edmond in 1990. They also enjoyed traveling. Mrs. McAndrew was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, a former member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kahoka, and a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors also include two sons, Mark S. McAndrew of Plano, Texas, and Michael J. McAndrew of Edmond; four daughters, Theresa Baker and Lucinda Logsdon, both of Edmond, Jeanne Samil of San Antonio, Texas, and Melinda Roberts of Concord, Calif.; three brothers, John J. Ellison of Davenport, Iowa, George E. Ellison of Canton and Robert E. Ellison of Peorai, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Warren (Dorothy) Stuckwisch of Warsaw, Ill., and Mrs. Robert (Rita) Kirchner of Canton; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John L. McAndrew III; and a brother, Paul W. Ellison.
