SHELDON, Iowa -- Catherine Hengeveld, 71, of Sheldon, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at her home.
One of a set of triplets, she was born in Hospers, and was a graduate of Westmar College. She taught at Sanborn Christian School, and was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Sheldon.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Katha and Ron Petroelje of Holland, Ken and Kim Hengeveld of Sheldon, Laurel and Scott Vanden Bosch of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Joel and Julie Hengeveld of Sheldon; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Jayne and Loren Bittner of Sioux Falls, a triplet, Wilma and Jake Brouwer of Downey, Calif., and a brother, Harvey and Marjean Westerman of Hartley.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon with the Rev. John Vermeer officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Visiting is 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.
