Mrs. Samuel H. Crissman
Mrs. Dillie Buzzard Crissman, 72, of Mahoning RD 1 died yesterday morning, July 20, 1958, in her home following a short illness.
A daughter of the late Lewis C. and Jane Ray Minick, she was born in Tidal Aug. 24, 1885. She lived in the Widnoon vicinity all her life.
She was a member of Widnoon Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Samuel H. Crissman; two sons, Paul Buzzard of Mahoning RD 1 and George of Rimersburg RD 3: two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Genevieve) Wolse of Irwin RD 5 and Mrs. Lonnie (Hazel) Stitt of Mahoning RD 1; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Harry (Edwinna) Craig of Rimersburg; three step-sons, Donald of new Bethlehem, Walter of Rimersburg RD 3 and Floyd Crissman of Mahoning RD 1, and nine step-grandchildren.
She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Drusilla) Hopper of Mahoning RD 1 and Mrs. Elizabeth Hopper of Widnoon; three brothers, Frank of Leechburg, Archie and Earl Minick of Mahoning RD 1 and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Miller funeral home in Rimersburg where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Ronald Chittister, pastor of Widnoon Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Tidal cemetery.
