Emmett Fritz was born June 6, 1865 in Hutton Township and died April 18, 1962 in Charleston, Illinois. He was the son of Mass and Elizabeth Blakely Fritz. His wife Mary (Molly) Eunice Hatten Fritz, preceded him in death in 1957. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Blakely Weaver Fritz. She was the daughter of Hugh & Katherine "Kitty" Martin Blakney. Survivors include three sons, Everett, Charles R., and Cecil, all of Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Cleo (Celia) Black, and Mrs. Gerald (Hazel) Stewart of Charleston, and Mrs. Elsie Terry of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Dora Parks of Little Rock Arkansas; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
