Iciphenia Irene Kennedy Bennett, 86, of Elkhart died June 29, 1970 at Anderson County Memorial Hospital. She was born in southern Anderson County, Texas on Feb. 16, 1884 to Thomas and Martha Sadler Kennedy. She and William Robert Bennett were married in Anderson County on Mar. 28, 1901. They were blessed with ten children, including four sets of twins. She was known as 'Mone' by many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mone was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, W.T., Fagan, and Odell; and daughter, Dorris. She was survived by daughters, Junie Rosson, Adelle Trigg, Lula Gray, and Doris Roquemore; and sons, Elwin, and Eldridge.
