Ludwig (Von) Belzer was born in Germany. He married Maria Elizabeth Traub 05/07/1835. They emigrated from Germany in 1847 and had 7 children.
Louis(1836) ,Friedrick(1837), Phillis(1839), Nikolas(1840-1845), Justina(1845-1848), Peter(1849)and Nikolas(1852). Ludwig and Maria are my GGG Grandparents on my mother's side.

After Maria's death in 1860, he remarried to Verena Hosig (1861), and fathered 5 more children.
