Harry E. Goodpaster, 63, 3820 E. Ft. Lowell Rd., Tucson, Ariz., died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday May 16 at Tucson General Hospital, where he had been hospitalized since May 11 in intensive care.

A native of Decatur and Rush Counties, Mr. Goodpaster was the son of Lillian Goodpaster of Greensburg and the late Fred Goodpaster. He married Edna La Vonne (Bonnie) Sutherland of Rushville on Sept. 5, 1946, and she survives.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, include three daughters: Sky Anne Daniels, Joetta Jane Cooper, and Patricia Dawn Goodpaster, all of Tucson; a son, David Lee Goodpaster, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Michael Thomas Daniels; twins: Jay C. and Joci Lin Cooper, and Chad Edward Culp of Tucson and Kevin Lee, Scott, and Kimberly Goodpaster of Kentucky; one brother, Clyde S. Goodpaster of Tampa, Fla.; six sisters: Ruby F. Zapfe, E. Jane Briggs, Jeanette S. Blodgett, and Janet L. Baltus, all of Greensburg, Martha G. Norris of Rushville and Mary Belle West of Tucson, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at The Catalina Church, Twin Lakes Road, Catalina, Ariz. at 7:00 p.m. today.
