After an illness of three days little Eva Gough departed this life, aged 7 years, 11 months and 17 days. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gough. This little angel that had been permitted by the all seeing and omnipotent ruler to bloom in its early home to gladden the hearts of its parents, brothers and sisters for but a brief space, has been transplanted to a more congenial sphere where trials and tribulations are not known, and where angels sing around the throne.

Parents, grieve not, your loved one, the beautiful flower on which you were wont to lavish your earthly affections and adoration now blooms and flourishes and sheds its sweet fragrance in the garden where angels tend...

It please the Alwise Creator to call this little girl away from this world September 9, 1913, to enjoy the happiness of the celestial city above.

The writer officiated at the grave...

Rev. T. T. Whitten.
