When 14 Sally was converted and baptized in the Baptist Church
She married Gipson F. Davis 8 August 1888 Baxter Springs, Cherokee County, Kansas. He was born 1865 Kentucky.
He had a business in New Mexico but left in 1889 to take up a homestead near Wilbur, Lincoln County, WA. In 1895 traveling in a covered wagon they moved to Northport, Stevens County, WA. They relocated to Medical Lake, Spokane County, WA and lived here for 31 years.
1920 they were living Spokane County, WA. One child living with them, Waneta Davis born about 1909 in Washington.
In 1933 they moved to Harrington and this was her home until she moved a few weeks before she died to Wilbur, WA. She was a member of the Harrington Evangelical Church; the Ladies Aid; the Woman's Missionary Society; the Eastern Star; the Rebekah Order; and the Eastern Star.
She said this of herself; ‘I was always proud to say—I was a real pioneer and I loved the life and friendliness of the people."
She had been ill and was being cared for by a nurse when she died peacefully in her sleep.
