Sterling Cone Holcomb was my Uncle on my father's side.
Sterling and his wife Ruby had a very happy marriage. They called each other "Sug" which is short for sugar because they had an everlasting sweet love for each other.
They had a wonderful water fountain in the backyard at their house, which was shaped like a cute little cupid boy. They named the fountain "Gus" which is "Sug" spelled backwards.
They did not have any children. However they had a pet Myna Bird that would whistle.
A fun couple to be around. They are truly missed and loved. Bless you both.
