Dennis Payton Holcomb is my Uncle on my father's side.


Dennis P Holcomb, 76 of Placerville died Sunday at a local hospital and services will be held at Memory Chapel at 11:00 a.m today. The Rev. Don O Herman of First lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Fair Oaks.


A native of Lubbock, Texas Dennis had lived the past 28 years in El Dorado County. He was an equipment operator for the California Department of Forestry for 17 years.


Dennis is survived by one son; one daughter; and two brothers (updated 2014)
