Birtis Acton, 68, of 13529 Foothill Blvd., Fontana, died Wednesday in Fontana. He was born in Arkansas and was a 23-year resident of Fontana. He was a furniture upholsterer.
Survivors include his widow, Emma; four sons: Birtis and Billy D. both of Amarillo, Texas, Marshall of Whittier, and Curtis, in the U.S. Army; a daughter Naomi Reed of Amarillo, Texas; a brother, Elbert of Mississippi; two sisters: Mabel Moss of Arkansas and Marie Phillips of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Ingold Chapel followed by burial in Hermosa Cemetery. Colton.
