Lora was born to Albert & Ella (Newton) Rush. She married W.S. "Bill" Lemonds June 4, 1913 and they had 4 children: Fae (Goosic), Dale, Leo and Wilma (Posegate).

LORA LEMONDS
Mrs. Lora Lemonds, 81, 1231 Seventh Street, Nevada, died Monday evening at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. She had been ill for six months.
Born April 21, 1891 in Stamford, Neb. she had been a resident of Story County nearly all her life. She was a member of the Nevada Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dale of Milwaukee and Leo of Hastings, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs Fae Goosic and Mrs Wilma Posegate, both of Nevada; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers and her husband William who died in 1964.
Funeral services will be at the Nevada Baptist Church Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Thursday.
