T. L. COLLVER

Friends of the family were greatly shocked to learn of the sudden death of T. L. Collver, of Whitebreast township, which occurred at his home on Thursday morning, December 23, 1909, at 3:30 o'clock, at the age of 56 years and 2 months. Death was due to heart failure.

Brief funeral services, conducted by Rev. Hugh Moore, pastor of the First Baptist church, were held at the family home on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, after which the remains were interred in the Chariton cemetery. Members of the Knights of Pythias lodge, of which he was a member, acted as pall bearers.

Theodore Lewis Collver, son of Ira and Dezire Collver, was born in Tipton, Iowa, on September 23, 1853. On August 19, 1878, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Vincent, who survives him. They were the parents of four children, all of whom are living. They are Edgar, of Winfield, Iowa; Will, of Chariton; and Pearl and Roxie, of Whitebreast township.

For about seventeen years the family has resided on the farm five miles west of Chariton. Deceased was a man of genial disposition, a kind neighbor and friend. He was held in high regard by all who knew him and his sudden death is deplored by a large circle of friends, who will extend sincere sympathy to the sorrowing wife and children.
