Services for Mr. Louis (Skeeter) Goodwin, 50, of Pollok, were conducted Saturday, August 18 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton McClendon and Rev. Matthew McBryde, Jr. officiating and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Goodwin died Thursday, August 16, in a Lufkin hospital. A native and lifetime resident of Wells, Mr. Goodwin was a truck driver. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors: wife, Virginia; mother, Mrs. Ottie Goodwin, son, Mike Goodwin; two daughters, Rebecca Jo Mooney and Glenda Acrey; sister, Mozelle Doss, brother, Young Goodwin and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Calvin Choate, William Durham, Charles David Greenville, Darryl Thacker, Jerry Goodwin and Carl Brewer.
