"County Pioneer Dies In Okla. City"
Funeral services for Harry Brown, 79, pioneer of Lincoln County were conducted Wednesday, 2 p.m. in the Curry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Parcher officiated. Interment was at Christy cemetery, the Curry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Brown died in a Midwest City Hospital Monday July 25. Brown was born March 5, 1887 in Kansas, the son of Abe and Martha Brown. He came to Lincoln County as a small boy and lived here until eight years ago when he moved to Midwest City.
Survivors include: his wife of the home; four sons, Joe, Muskogee; Harold, Warwick; Abe, Grove, Okla.; and Gary, Crockett, Calif,.; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Patton, Midwest City, one brother, Tom Brown, Chandler; and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Inskeep, Chandler; Mrs. Cora DeWeese, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Dora Campbell, Wellson; also 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
